    If you think using a DI is good enough and you think you don’t need any effects, consider this:
    Sounding great improves your playing, which sparks inspiration, which stimulates creativity. Whether you have a $200 or $2000 guitar, the Acoustic Fly Rig will make it sound bigger, fuller and warmer. You’ll easily be able to dial up tones that will make you want to play all night long. It’s jammed packed with useful features:  All-analog SansAmp, parametric EQ, boost, compressor, tap tempo delay, independent reverb. And it fits in your gig bag.
    So why settle for just a DI?

    All Fly Rigs in the series are multi-function for recording and live performances (with an amp or direct to the PA), and exceptionally versatile. Despite its name, the Acoustic Fly Rig is also excellent for electric guitar and bass, when you want clean tones for jazz, country, and blues.

    From bedroom to stadium, the Acoustic Fly Rig provides ‘round-the-clock ease and confidence for any gig, anywhere and everywhere you perform.

     

    SANSAMP

    The all-analog SansAmp is, of course, its center point. Sweepable, semi-parametric, active EQ controls provide professional grade tweakability for any situation. There’s a Notch Filter, sweepable from 70Hz to 350Hz, designed to diminish the sensitivity for feedback caused by the resonating, low frequencies of acoustic guitars. A Low Pass Filter, sweepable from 16kHz to 1.5kHz, rolls off undesirable frequencies and artifacts.

    BUILT-IN SPEAKER/CAB SIM: The 100% analog SansAmp Tube Amplifier Emulation technology encompasses the entire signal chain, from pre-amp to power amp to speaker simulation. An integral part of the circuitry, the SansAmp speaker simulation will complement any type of guitar or bass speaker cabinet system. You can also place an external IR after a SansAmp to give additional flavor if you so desire. The SansAmp speaker sim is designed and individually tailored for a smooth, even response as would be achieved by a multiply-miked cabinet –without peaks, valleys, and notches associated with single miking and many IRs.

    BOOST

    Independent Boost function, up to approx 12dB, for solos. Includes a wide mid-range boost for improved clarity. 

    COMP

    COMP, for compression, utilizes old school, all-analog, FET-based technology, which is inherently warmer, more transparent and musical.

    REVERB

    Dedicated Reverb function emulates the rich ambiance of open spaces, ranging from room to hall. 

    DLA/CHR

    DLA emulates a warm sounding analog delay. It features Time and Repeats controls and dedicated Tap Tempo footswitch. CHR is a preset chorus based on pitch-shifting technology for a more natural, 12-string-style sound. 

    TUNER

    Chromatic Tuner is within the EFX section. You simply hold down the TAP/TUNER footswitch to engage the Tuner, which simultaneously mutes the signal path.
